Good Stuff

Great book, like most books I don't agree with every single aspect but most certainly some excellent advice for today! I think the US in general is to high paced and in a hurry which is why the road is full of PO'ed drivers.

Improve Relationships With Family

I bought this book to read on vacation. During the vacation I found myself defaulting to my hurried behavior. I took a minute to stop and pray. By slowing down I was able to reset and stop rushing. As the holidays approach, my family and I are looking forward to saying NO. Often we find our selves overwhelmed and overcommitted. The book made me think about what was really important, that running late for worldly endeavors should never cause a fight with the ones you love. We used to fight when we would be running late places. Sunday morning on our way to church always seemed to be the worst. Now we enjoy the moments together in the present moment. This book is not only a good read but perhaps a life-changing one. You need to read it.

The illumination of hurry was a nice reminder to slow down and pray and put god first so we don't feel unloved and lonely.
