Jo Malone London 'Saffron' Cologne Intense 3.4oz/100ml New

I wasn't so sure about this fragrance at first - When I first smelt it, I didn't think it was as strong as some of my other favourites from the intense range, such as oud and bergamot, velvet rose and oud and dark amber and gingerlily. Yet after spraying, it developed into a deep, sensual fragrance, with masculine leather and woody tones which were smouldery and really rather sexy. Worn this for a week now and had many compliments from both men and women asking what it was - The scent lingers even after you stop smelling it yourself. As for fragrance combining, I personally think it works really well with dark amber and gingerlily and earl grey and cucumber! AMAZING with both!

Beautiful scent that reminds me of Blue Agava & Cacao but is not as sweet (I also have pom noir and wild fig perfumes as my staples). I too was going to complain about the staying power because after 20 min I can hardly smell it on my skin but I get constantly complemented on it from both male and female friends and colleagues so something must be right here. Now, after 4 weeks of wearing no other perfume but Saffron, my wardrobe smells of it and I am totally addicted. And I hope never to run out....
