This blanket is beautiful. I bought it to add to my country decor in my living room as a couch blanket. it is much thicker than you would expect. I don't think it would be much use for an adult to use if you are a little cold for a blanket on the couch as it is a little on the smaller size, maybe for a chold to cover up with. I think it is better used as a decoration on the back of the couch, the colors are beautiful!

This is the second one I've bought. I've found them great to use as "bed scarves." With kids and critters I was washing bedspreads every week (even expensive spreads wear out quickly at that rate). Now I just pop this quilt in with the sheets once a week. After a year of this, the first one is still holding up great, despite spilled chocolate milk, collie toe nails and kitty claws, and my designer spread is spared the wear and tear. The quilt may feel a little stiff when it arrives but softens up nicely after the first wash.
