I am a size 16, 5'6'', 180lbs and these ran slightly large. Once washed they should be fine. very comfy and soft denim. I have larger thighs and bottom, and the fit was not constricting at all. VERY flattering, to wear with a boxy fit top. Nice length at mid calf. Very well made. Fabric is lighter denim, great for Spring/early Summer. One tiny thing, the waist band does roll when sitting, but I did not have a belt on, and that would keep it straight.
