great for kids

I purchased this for my 8 year old son after his 2 year old brother broke his other cd player. We were able to mount this on the wall out the of the way and it works great. He gets his favorite channel (radio Disney) which was really important to him. I would recommend this as a cheaper alternative for a radio. Sound quality isn't outstanding but we weren't looking for that, just something to get out of the way of the 2 year old and play music.

decent system

purchased this for my brother for his bedroom. he is ill and not able to get out much so we are trying to make his life as comfortable as possible in each room. he set this up in his bedroom - fits on his nightstand and gives him to ability to listen to his cd's while he falls asleep or when he wakes during the night and is unable to fall back to sleep. Like he said, it's not what you would want as your main system, but for the bedroom on a lower volume it's great.
