A good radio with a problematic design flaw.

The sound is good, plus it tunes in more stations than my other similar radio. So it is very good that way. The problem is the location and style of the tuning dial. It is a small wheel you turn with your finger. Located on the back to one side, it is easy to bump or move. So I have to retune a station frequently, which is a real design flaw. The station selection dial is close to the on and off switch making it difficult to use that without changing the station too. Plus, the station indicator numbers are tiny and on the dial, no led display, making it guess work to locate an exact station number.

It's not bad but it still skips passages on my books on cd, the sole reason I bought this stereo to replace the other two i had that skipped. It's the stereo not the books because they play fine in my car and I'm not listening to the same book or cd every time it skips. It's over wise fine and the perfect size about the size of a basketball.

I like it.

It works well. I don't use the radio. I use the CD player as a sleep aid. I like the buttons because they have a good feel and they placed well so that I can use them without seeing them. I gave it four stars instead of five because I have only used it a few hours. I hope that it lasts a long time. I bought it to replace my Emerson player which also worked well but it did not last.
