McCormick No Artificial Flavors Gluten Free Brown Gravy Seasoning Mix, 0.88 oz Packet

There are so many meals this gravy can be used in. I like to mix this dry gravy packet in with one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of mushrooms to make a very thick and creamy gravy. This packet only calls for a little water. Tastes really good made either way. Throw it in hamburgers or meatloaf for added flavor. Gluten free tastes to me just like the original packet does. No difference in taste. Goes good in the slow cooker as well for the busy family on the run as life gets busy. Kid friendly. A nice pantry staple to have on hand.

When I got McCormick Brown Gravy Mix I intended to use it for a quick fix with dinner. Making the Brown Gravy was so simple, Gradually add 1 [one] cup of water to the Gluten free Brown Gravy mix with a whisk into a small saucepan. Stir while heating over medium heat, boil, reduce heat, simmer 3 to 4 minutes and remove from heat. It get thicker as it sets. Excellent. Very rich and full of flavor. This will yield 1 [one] cup of gravy. Then just serve as is. I really liked how easy the Brown Gravy mix is, it tasted so great, and all I added was a sprinkle of black pepper to taste. Not too salty and just the right amount of seasonings. Made my beef and potatoes just perfect. I wanted to try it again, only this time I actually used it as a seasoning for my roast, carrots and potatoes dish. Oh my goodness. It really just made all of the difference in the dinner and brought out the flavors so much. My family has made me promise to keep using the McCormick Brown Gravy Mix, and to keep experimenting with all of my dishes with the Brown Gravy for all of my beef, potato, and other vegetable dishes. In addition to the great taste, it is Gluten free, so I do not have to worry about it bothering my sensitive digestive system. Just a really handy, quick and great tasting and easy Brown Gravy mix and seasoning additive.
