We’ve created a whole line of deicers along with a convenient zone chart for consumers to choose the correct deicer, every time! My new KH Perfect Climate Deluxe Pond De-icer worked great over the past few days. I live in NW North Carolina and we had a recent cold spell - down to 18 degrees. No ice in the pond. it was rated in our zone for up to 300 gallons. PS: the birds arre using it as a perch to drink from the pond!

Horse trough
We use the 250 watt pond deicer in our horse trough. It keeps enough melted for the horses to drink, we are in Zone 7. This deicer requires little power and comes with a 12 foot cord, its eliminated the need for extension cords. Its worked well for our needs.
