I buy this for my 13 year old Yorkie who has gastrointestinal issues and frequently would get bile to the point of dehydration and frequent trips to emergency. Since switching from 2 larger meals a day to 4 small meals and this change in diet … no more bile. She gets full jar for breakfast, chicken with cranberries for lunch, kibble with EN canned prescription and just before bed a tablespoon of cottage cheese. After an emergency surgery, my aging dog sometimes gets picky and won't eat her normal food. The emergency vet suggested giving her baby food right after surgery and it was all she'd eat. Now its her comfort food. So I always keep some on hand for her.
