Jarden LSF1610BR-BM Lakewood 16" Stand Fan Black

The Lakewood stand fan is a great value for the price. It's quiet, efficient, & easy to assemble without tools. I was shopping for a remote control fan with variable speeds, & oscillation capabilities. I bought a couple of more expensive remote-controlled fans at my local Wal-Mart store, but the remote controls on those fans merely turned them off & on. (I kept them anyway, but use them in rooms that we don't use daily.) The Lakewood fan was not offered in the store; I had to order it on-line; however, the Lakewood fan's remote allows me to control off/on, speed, & oscillation, plus a couple of other timed functions. It's a smaller, lighter construction than the more expensive model from the different manufacturer which I bought in the store, but for my purposes, I prefer the Lakewood product because it has a more versatile remote control.
