I was looking for retro metal patio furniture when I came across this glider at Walmart.com. After reading reviews at Walmart.com and other sites, I decided to purchase it knowing that I could return it to Walmart if I was dissatisfied. It isn't as heavy as the original furniture from decades ago, but I expected that. It was easy to put together but time consuming. I disagree with others that it was difficult to put together...there are a lot of parts, and that takes time to put them all together correctly. The instructions were pretty straight forward...just follow the diagrams and use the correct lettered parts. You won't need a degree in engineering to build it, but I recommend one other person to help. Now that it's finished, it looks great with the other two chairs I also bought at Walmart.com. The red color is vibrant, and the gliding is smooth and relaxing. I am very happy with my purchase.
