My almost 3 year old grand daughter absolutely loves this toy. Right now she just loves putting everything in her shopping card and ringing them up on her cash register but there is room for growth and interactive learning as she gets older with the food group ,color matching and math cards that can grow with the child. Looking forward to using those with her. The many ways to interact with your child and teach are explained well in the brochure that comes with the colorful cards. But the actual foods, bins, realistic play money and shelves are well made and are enough in themselves as fun imaginative play.
