It works better than I expected and is easier to use than my Bissel which is some cases is just too powerful and pulls up my throw rugs. Cleaning this manual is about the same. When cleaning out the dirt in the catch area it can be a mess and one has to be careful when handling the trap as they can pop open. But can't beat it for the money and it does the job.

I have two dogs that shed and this thing is amazing. It picks it all up and it's very easy to empty out. The only thing I don't really like is the handle is not long enough for me. It is but if my husband uses it, it's a little wonky because he's a lot taller than I am. I wanted to add that this is perfect for a thin area rug or just some small little rugs you have laying around your house!
