If I could give a negative rating I would

Normally I would think of Irwin for a pipe wrench but I needed a small 10" pipe wrench for a project and couldn't find my favorite "MADE IN THE USA" brand wrench locally. So I took a gamble and purchased this, I was less than impressed. For a pipe wrench to work the teeth on the top jaw need to be sharp enough to bite into the pipe. These wouldn't grip at all. They were promptly returned for a refund and I purchased my favorite "MADE IN THE USA" brand pipe wrench. The ironic thing is that the "MADE IN THE USA" brand wrench was cheaper and works flawlessly. Hopefully the new owners of Irwin (Stanley) will do the right thing and bring production of the "Vise Grip" back to the USA since the quality of the imported "Vise Grip" doesn't compare to same tool that was made in the USA.
