Ironcat 9070 Leather Welding Glove for Stick Welding: Size 2XL, Left Glove Only

I actually purchased these to use with my chainsaw to protect my arms when harvesting/salvaging naturally fallen trees. These gloves keep my arms and hands much cooler than I expected while also allowing great mobility with a chainsaw. My main purpose was having a glove that extended up my arm, at a reasonable price, that would give me some safe guard from snake bites. Although I'm not sure if they have been test against a snake, but if a snake has bit them, they did what I bought them hoping for cause I never felt it nor had a single scratch from flying wood chips. I have used them for some metal work (not welding yet), and I never felt the heat from the fire on my hands or arms. So although they are "welding gloves" if you're a logger or wood worker that harvest their own wood, these gloves will benefit you in that field as well. Let me stress, DO NOT PICK UP SNAKES WITH THESE! I have not purposely tested by having a snake bite them, nor has the manufacturer disclosed whether or not they will protect you from bites. They are a high quality product. I will forever trust this manufacturer's products based off these gloves.
