Involver
Key item features
Who would have thought that technology would replace Benji as man's best friend? From a mixed breed to a mixed sound the future is expressed with a technical voice. Before the digital age, music had boundaries that confined its momentum, but now. . . the future of music is an unstoppable force with boundaries only defined by the DJ who controls them.
Sasha's new hi-tech masterwork, Involver, brings the best of the live show experience into the studio. The effortless meld of hypnotic dance music will stun you into submission. Release your mind and body with the mesmerizing sounds as the "Master of the Mix" takes control of the music's reconstruction.
"In A State" breaks apart the vocals, distorting them into an innovative score of sound. Sasha has taken a club favorite and reinvented it into a fresh, stunning piece. In this craft it's important to continually forge ahead into the musical unknown, exploring uncharted territory and claim it as your own.
Bringing "Smile" back was an easy decision. With The Youngsters' rich undertones and dreamy vocals the remix was just to tempting for Sasha to ignore. The deliberate weave of sounds take artistry to a whole new level. Wringing a new mix out of an old success isn't always easy, but Sasha makes it seem natural.
Warm effervescent sounds surround you in "These Days." The track begins with a lone deep sound that moves effortlessly into a light bubbly mix. The transition draws you into the middle of the song where it holds you spellbound for a short time. Although "These Days" is by far the shortest song on Involver, it stakes its claim as the standout track on the disc.
Involver is a global journey that is crafted for the club or the car. Sasha has taken the excitement of his live shows and captured them in the studio. The result is a mix of hypnotic pleasure that demands an audience and begs to be played again and again. For those of you that are new to trance music, don't try to understand it. Just take the journey and loose yourself in the sound. Become involved, the experience is enough.
