Innovating Science Underwater Fireworks Demonstration KIT contains calcium carbide that is placed in a cylinder containing water while a reaction occurs that produces acetylene gas bubbles. Demonstration comprises a plastic tube from a chlorine gas generator that is placed in the cylinder, as the bubbles of acetylene and chlorine collide, flashes of light are produced. Kit includes sodium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid, calcium carbide lumps and instructions.
