From cutting shelving to mitering trim, the SKIL 5080 7-1/4 In. Circular Saw is a great saw to tackle DIY projects in your home workshop. This corded circular saw features a 13-amp, 2.3-horsepower motor that delivers up to 5300 RPM to power through a variety of cuts in common lumber and sheet materials. The integrated dust blower keeps the cut line sawdust-free for accurate work. Its 51-degree bevel with positive stop at 45 degrees allows a variety of cuts with a 2-7/16-inch maximum cut capacity. The SKIL saw features a spindle lock as well as on-tool wrench storage for fast, convenient blade changes. The electric circular saw comes equipped with an included 7-1/4-inch 18-tooth carbide circular saw blade.

It's a perfect little saw for home use. Obviously not for doing large contractor jobs, but as a woman maintaining a 200yo farmhouse, I found this to be the perfect size and weight and it feels sturdy and well made, not something that'll break on me in a year.

Straight out of the box ready to work easy to install or change the blade with the blade wrench stored right in the frame of the saw and out of the way. This saw rips plywood as well as 2x4x8 ft studs without stalling out or binding. Change the blade and it cuts metal as smooth as factory cut without heating the metal up. I would definitely recommend this saw for the professional or the hobby weekend wood worker. Plus this is a USA made product.
