As an adult toy collector this takes me back to the toys from the 80s when I was a kid. This toy is large, mean, gross, but done in a cartoon sort of way that is very satisfying and makes it suitable for children. Kids like dinosaurs, insects, and monsters for a reason. Tentaclor is a giant purple alien monster designed to terrorize your imaginext heroes. The exposed brain is a nice touch, giving a slight zombie vibe which ups the cool factor. The large purple tentacles are a fun way to capture imaginext figures and hoist them up high off the ground. I'm not a fan of toys with electronics, but fortunately Tentaclor comes with an on/off button like the Wizard's Tower, and the batteries are removable for long time storage or use. All the gimmicks, the chomping, the swatting, eyeball moving, and pooping work even without the electronics, which is very clever and I'm glad they made it that way. Tentaclor is a monster as big as a play set, and it makes you want to say "Release the Kraken!!!"
