Illume 51 in. x 78 in. Wall Hinged Glass Shower Enclosure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in the construction industry and have observed quite a few shower doors over the last 5 years. This is some of the nicest hardware I have seen and the packaging and protection is phenomenal. I would expect this shower door to cost about 30% more than it does. It arrived in 4 separate boxes. The 2 glass boxes are heavy and should be carried by 2 people. Installation in general is extremely easy and the install video that Glass Warehouse has put together takes out all the guess work! It can be installed by one person, but would be easier with a helper. Make sure to measure ahead of time, as the tolerances have little room for error. It's important that it's installed level and plumb so that the door swings freely. The door that we received has matte black hardware and it's very uniform in color and high quality finish. We're happy with the look of the door and it really adds to the beauty of the remodeled bathroom. Highly recommended!

The doors are true to size and fit my standard bathroom shower wall frame. Make sure you measure twice before deciding on the size. The hinges are very sturdy and easy to install using just a few tools. You might want some help holding the doors while you measure for the hinges. The doors swing out and I like that because they dont get caught on anything. The glass is really thick and after having on for a few weeks I have noticed that glass treated with Enduroshield that helps reduce water spotting and soap scum accumulation. The glass is 78" tall which is considerably higher than most doors and gives it a much more trendy look. You should expect 4 boxes to make sure that you have all the pieces and parts. Open each up and read instructions and gather all your tools before you start. I know these new doors make our bathroom look so beautiful and hope that they last for years to come.
