This special port is designed specifically to take full advantage of the Tokina 10-17mm Fisheye lens at its widest. Zoom lenses behind a dome will be softer at some focal lengths than others due to the relationship between their floating nodal point and the position of the dome. This port positions the dome properly for sharp images at 10mm without vignetting. Get out there and start shooting Snell's Window! Our 6-inch dome is made from optical grade acrylic for superior image quality which is virtually indistinguishable from photos taken behind a glass dome. The 6-inch dome is far more compact and lightweight for travel as compared to larger, glass domes. The lens is not able to be zoomed in this installation.
