The Ibanez UEW5E Concert Ukulele offers a new look and fresh approach to ukuleles. The Concert size body is modeled after the Ibanez EW Series Acoustic Guitar’s distinctive single cutaway shape. The UEW5E features an all-mahogany body construction and an open pore gloss finish. The body is also adorned with a beautiful abalone rosette. The open pore finish complements the mahogany grain beautifully. Guitar players will appreciate the low action and the ease of playability. The mahogany neck is dressed with a 19-fret  rosewood fingerboard.

The UEW5E pumps out a lot of sound despite its diminutive size, and the mahogany top delivers a tone that is bright, yet warm with enough volume that you will be heard while playing with a group. When it's time to plug in, the UEW5E can be amplied thru an Ibanzez Under Saddle Pickup system with a UK-300T preamp and onboard tuner. A set of Chrome Open Gear Tuners rounds out the hardware.
