squirrels broke my plastic feeder. They haven't been able to get at this one but not for the sake of trying. Because it is metal I hope the birds can feast. I have another feeder the squirrels took over so they do get their own food.

I put safflower seeds in this, the cardinals can get the seed, but the doves don't seem to be able to perch(which is good). I would not put anything squirrels like in this feeder because the squirrels would make short work on the wire netting! Good for what I want it for!
