This dog bed is very good for dogs that have a lot of coat to sleep cool. My dog is an Aussie and she is always very hot. So, the bed provides her ventilation when she is sleeping during the hot Summer, and from the heat of radiators during the Winter. I see she is comfortable and I am happy for her.
