I'm enjoying this litter box. I've got a motion sensor night light inside the lid. It's so nice to simply lift the front to clean the litter. And the light, lights up every time I open the front. So, no need for turning a light on. I'm sure my kitty appreciates being able to see inside. We had a large litter box before (with the night light I installed), but somehow, this one seems roomier. I don't have the flap door installed. I didn't, in the last one either. My kitty likes it best, with the door off. I haven't had to carry the litter box, full of litter. I keep it pretty full of litter. So, I'm hoping it can handle being carried, like when I bug out for a hurricane. 😅

Great For Nesting Boxes

The litter boxes are good size. They aren't the most sturdy, but they work. I actually am using them for nesting boxes for my hens. They like them as there is enough room for them to move around, unlike regular poultry nesting boxes. They are deep and keep all the shavings in. I wouldn't hesitate getting them for that reason or cat boxes.

I accidentally broke my cats previous litter box, so I bought this as a replacement one. Let me you, I was amazed of how huge this box is. You could fit three cats in this thing. I only have one cat so there's plenty of room. I love that I can lift up the door without having to remove the whole top. Not the case with my previous litter box. My cat was hesitant to use this box at first but he quickly got used to it
