The INCRA 1000SE, has all the great features of the popular INCRA Miter1000 plus more! The Special Edition adds a stainless steel Vernier cursor for an incredible 1/10th degree resolution between fixed steps. The Special Edition also includes a miter fence that telescopes from 18" to a full 30" in length with the new INCRA Flip Shop Stop for patented Automatic Positioning Control. The saw tooth rack system instantly controls the length of your cut with INCRA's legendary machine shop accuracy as the dual Flip arms provide flexibility. The Flip Shop Stop is equipped with three sliding stop rods that operate independently or in tandem for one, two, or three simultaneous stop positioner setups.

Great Product
I have only made a few cuts, but boy were they exactly the same length! This is a substantial tool. Sometimes you know a fine tool when you first handle it. Well, when I unboxed it I thought this thing is going to be geat -- and I was right. The instruction manual was very good with illustrating with color photographs and text explaining setup and how to make cuts. This tool works great with my new Grizzly G0715P saw. Highly recommend this tool. My only regret is I didn't buy it years ago. In baseball parlance this tool by Incra is a grand slam.

I've been using a cutoff box for years. It is very large, and requires significant reconfiguration/cleanup of the saw area every time it is used. I started using the stock miter slide that came with my saw and realized that I needed to re-evaluate the use of mitre slides because for 95% of my use, these are much more convenient. The Incra mitre slide solved most of my past hangups using these devices. No adjustment was required out of the box to get perfectly square cuts, and the return to 90 is very repeatable. I especially like that there are a multitude of ways to set/adjust the position of the cutoff stop. I'll probably rebuild a lighter cutoff box for extra long stock, cut on the right side of the blade; but I expect that it will very rarely be used given that the Incra slide covers most of my needs.
