What pot for our daily cooking routine

We received this 16 quart steamer pot with rack to try from IMUSA, and it was awesome! It's lightweight so I can lift it easily. Also it came in beautiful royal blue, which is one of our favorite colors. It's super roomy, can contain so much ingredients in the pot, and we've been using it for tamales, stews, soups and steam meat/vege dishes all the time. Definitely a stable item in my cooking routine going forward.

Amazing steam pot

It's an inexpensive, light weight steamer/stock pot. It works very well for steaming. We did 2 lobsters as soon as we got it. Worked great. It did discolor inside, either from our water or the herbs I used. I don't know if a water/broth based stock or soup would do the same thing. It is too light weight to be used for any sauce or soup that's tomato based or thick.

Gets the job done

This pot is the perfect size for cooking larger items. I used it to salt bath my 16lb turkey and it fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend this pots. Sometimes getting back to just the basics is what we need. It also comes with a trivet for cooking.
