The space I have for my Christmas tree is very tight, when it's decorated it is very hard to plug and unplug the lights without knocking off the decorations. Don't bump thru the dark to find the lamp switch!
At night my husband frequently falls asleep reading. I would wake up with the lamp on and have to crawl over him or get up and walk around to turn off the lamp. Needless to say, then I had to feel my way back to bed in the dark, and not to mention all of those stubbed toes!! NOT anymore. This wireless remote control, on my night table, solved that problem with one click of the button. It is a good value, has a long range and easy to set up.
