I highly recommend these work gloves. My husband wore them to move a large wood pile. He said they were very durable. Have a nice grip. He felt they protected his hands real well. He also liked the fact they have a breathable material so they didn't get to warm. I tried them to do some gardening. And have to say even with being to big since they are Men's gloves,i really liked them to. The leather palms helped to grip the weeds i was pulling.

I selected these Hyper Tough leather palm gloves for the tough work I do on our hobby farm. I cut firewood, unload animal feed, and maintain a large garden. This sort of work demands reliable hand protection, and it sure helps for them to be as comfortable as these are. The canvas backs make them easy to wear, and the soft suede palms and fingers mean that there's no need to "break them in". The palms are much thicker than comparable work gloves of similar style that I usually buy. It's normal for the other brand gloves to fall apart in the palm area with rough use, and so far these gloves have held up very well. Hard work requires a durable glove because when I'm off working from my pickup I normally don't carry a spare pair of gloves and don't want to do without hand protection. I'll probably recommend these gloves to my elderly neighbor who does a lot of pruning and weeding in her landscaping because of their comfort and durability. I will also get several more pairs because I need some in my woodworking shop for handling the rough sawn wood that I have to run through the planer that can be dangerous to handle bare handed. I wanted to use these a while before I wrote the review. I would highly recommend..
