Hyper Tough Black Plastic 4-Tier Shelving Unit, 280 lb Capacity, 56.2x30x13.8 Inches

I bought these for my garage. They work but during assembly the corner piece where the bar goes into the shelf broke. It happened on 2 different sets of shelves. So I had to leave the bottom.shelf off. Overall thet weren't too expensive but the price shows in the quality.

You get what you pay for - it is a cheaper shelf so you get lesser quality. It does the job but can be difficult to put together. I purchased 2 and the second was way harder to put together. Also both units were slightly cracked to begin with. The poles are very difficult to get seated fully so after setting both next to each other I noticed one unit was taller. I tried placing a board over top of the poles and hammering them in but that did not work. I ending up having to stand and then jump on the shelves in order to get the poles to be fully seated in the openings. This resulted in a lot of the shelves cracking and pieces breaking off, which is on me but it was the only way I could get them to fully seat and therefore be level. Also when the poles were not fully seated the entire unit was unstable and the poles would flex under the pressure. After finally putting the units together at equal heights, the notched parts on the sides of the shelves that slip into each other are nice since they keep the units together. They look fine and you can't really see the cracks unless you look hard. Plus I am using them as extra shelving in a closet so they're not apparently visible without opening the door. Luckily I was looking for a cheap option and did not care about looks so I'm okay with the purchase. However, I will purchase a more expensive and nicer shelving unit for my garage.
