Hyper Tough Black Plastic 4-Tier Shelving Unit, 280 lb Capacity, 56.2x30x13.8 Inches

I ordered this for a kitchen closet pantry because of the quick, no tool assembly. But I cannot trust anything even approaching the 280lb stated capacity, as the support tubes simply do not fit into the shelf holes properly. My strong, athlete son improved the stability somewhat, but cautioned me to use it only for very light things, like cereal boxes, paper towels, napkins, etc. I have purchased similar shelves from different manufacturers and was very satisfied, but decided to save a few bucks when I saw this. My mistake. A disappointment, for sure, but it does serve a limited function, hence the three stars.

These shelving units were fairly cheap and easy to put together with a rubber mallet. But they are small with narrow shelves and dont feel very stable. I bought them for garage storage and you can only fit 1 or 2 things on each shelf. I wish i would have gotten the little larger ones. I would recommend going the next size up if you truly need them for storage.
