Hyper Tough 6FT 10AWG 3 Prong Gray Indoor Dryer Appliance Cord

I'm reviewing the Hyper tough 6ft dryer cord. Upon opening, well my dogs opened it, I was surprised it made it through 2 lab puppies that my mail man left for them to open! It seems like it will last and the prongs are sturdy. I am reviewing this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

This dryer cord is 6 feet long, which is plenty length for the dryer to the outlet. It is for a three prong outlet. It is very easy to check as all you have to do is unplug your dryer, if replacing and count the prongs. The wire itself is ten gauge which meets the standards for dryer cords. It is gray in color and it is made for homes usually built in 1996 or later, and is for indoor use only. It has a 30 max amp capacity and is 125/250 volt which is the standard for electric dryers. It comes with a two year warranty also. Now if you are not familiar with 3 prong and four prong dryers a three prong dryer's wiring is usually not colored coded. The middle wire will always be your neutral, and the outer wires will be the hot wires. They are very easy to install, and once you do that part you can then plug in your dryer. To be extra safe before installing turn off the breaker to your dryer. Once you have completed the whole process then turn your breaker back on. It is always recommended when buying a new dryer you also buy a new dryer cord as a new dryer will not come with one.
