I had been wanting a little cutoff tool like this for quite a while. Saw this kit for half the price of any other brand and figured why not try it. I find myself grabbing it all the time now for trimming off and shaping smaller metal and plastic pieces. *** performance notes: *** If the unit keeps stopping while trying to cut, charge the battery up all the way. I'm guessing this would work longer/better with the 4Ah batteries but it's cut numerous small pieces just fine for me on the battery that comes with it. Also try to keep it somewhere halfway warm, lithium ion batteries don't do so great when cold.

powerful and compact with the right battery
so this tiny thing does a fantastic job and its small design make its ideal for mechanic work in tight spaces. I understand that some people may have had issues with its power and stopping when the load was too much but thats because the small battery it comes with doesnt provide it with the power it really needs. The 4.0AH or 6.0AH battery is where this thing shines. itll cut through a half inch steel sway bar link in less than a minute.
