How to measure?
These shades are beautiful. They are not complete privacy shades - you can still see through at night. I could not find on any reviews the definitive way to measure for these. One set I ordered exactly the width of the window since some people said they are automatically trimmed to 1/2 inch on each side and those fit perfectly. The 2nd set I ordered this way had to be returned because they were too wide. I ended up ordering a 1/2 inch narrower than the window
