Works Great for me

I liked this unit. I set it up and the humidity went up in my apartment by 12% with it on low. It is a little bit noisy but nothing too big. It just sounds like water bubbling. Kind of relaxing, really.

Better than I'd imagined!

I was impressed in that this product did not "mist" all over my furniture as they did in the early days of humidifiers. The air was remarkably more moist. I am writing this review because I was searching for a new unit for my dad who suffers from COPD and lives in Arizona where the air is dry as can be. I saw all the negative feedback and was amazed. My unit works well. It is not noiseLESS however its soft hum is worth the moist air and relief it supplies.

Hunter humidifier

I purchased this last year and have been very happy with it. I was even considering buying a second one just for the bedroom, but don't know if I need one this size. The other reviews that I've read mention leakage and I have had no leakage. You do have to be careful after filling the tank and replacing it on the base. I, like others, bought it because it was made by Hunter and Hunter has a very good reputation.
