There's a storm in this tent, yes a storm... I'm a vendor and we do festivals all the time. My last festival was on a hill, short story...it rained hard and the wind was crazy and we couldn't pick up merchandise due to bad weather so we hoped for the best the next day the result of. To my surprise, the tent was not disturbed, other tents had to fly away or be destroyed by wind and rain, but our tent was solid as a rock. To secure it we used the metal thingy that came with it plus we purchased extra so we used two metal things on each pole.

So I bought this for a backyard BBQ. It's too easy to let go. But what I will say is, you need three people to set it up, and you need to use ties to hold it down. We also got sandbags to lighten it. We had a small storm the night before, and the wind picked up and blew it against the six-foot-tall vinyl fence in our neighbor's yard. So be sure to press it down. I have three six-foot foldable tables there for food and drink stations. marvelous. I would recommend it to anyone. Please be careful not to leave it out in any wind or storm.
