I love LOVE the hooky book series, and already have all the books for myself, and even have the coloring book. So I love the author and the story, and decided to get it as a gift for someone else. BUT! Be careful ordering it through Walmart, the packaging it arrived in was ripped (luckily not too badly) and so the spine of the first book (I'm getting them the whole set) was kinda scuffed, nothing I can't fix with a lil bit of paint so I won't bother returning it, but it's something to keep in mind.

This series of books are incredible. Lots of detail. Good amount of pictures as they are a graphic series. Longer book in terms of page count but my children have no problem sitting through at least 50 pages at a time. We finish about a book a week! This storyline is very unique and keeps the children's minds engaged and guessing what comes next! They love it! And so do I I must admit lol GRAB THEM ALLL!
