Easy to set up. The filters went right in. I'm in a condo apartment and the vents in the building let everyone else's dust and food odors come through. I keep the purifier on only when I'm home (which is most of the time), but off at night. With it on only those hours, it has made an amazing difference in the air. Much less smell and the dust has almost disappeared! I'm thinking of getting the larger size for the living room - kitchen area.

One of the best purifiers in the market
I did a lot of research into purifier design and rating systems for effectiveness. I also credit consumer reports after I settled on this one, and they also rate it 3rd best for function. There are some reviewers online that say these aren’t good for reasons that have nothing to do with effectively they clean the air. I don’t care about saving 5-10 watts of power to go with a different purifier that doesn’t clean the air as well. The fan noise is something all purifiers will make, because they have fans in them. This one is easily ignorable on setting 3 (allergen). On setting 4 (turbo) not so much but most people probably won’t need to run it that fast, and those who do won’t do so often.

This is an outstanding purifier. We live in the Great Central Valley, which was filled with smoke for up to a month from all of the fires in the foothills to the southeast, northeast and northwest of us. We put this in the dining room area of our 2,000 square foot home and it reduced the pollutants in the air from an air quality index (AQI) of 72 down to 4 and it was done in less than an hour for the entire house! We were shocked because Honeywell indicated the size of the area for the unit and it was about 1/6th of the size we actually used it on. We bought the HPA300 at the same time we bought the HPA200 and now we use the larger unit in the front of the house and the smaller unit in the back of the house. We recommended the HPA200 for a family we knew who live closer to the fires in the foothills because we knew how effective it is. We only use the unit at this point when the AQI gets up to 20 or more in the house.
