And, believe me this is so easy it takes me 5 - 10 min. once a week( as I prefer) to clean thoroughly. I have thrown out humidifiers in the past because of the difficulty in getting the slime out of them and never getting it all out. Also, the warm mist is so helpful and relaxing. I definitely recommend this humidifier.
