I purchased this humidifier because of static. It's very quite. Puts out a good amount of steam. My hair no longer clings to my face in the morning when I brush it. Being winter time, it also warms up the room a bit. It is very easy to clean and remove parts. I have extremely hard water, which it built up on the inside of pump area, vinegar dissolves it fast. Definitely a good deal.

This particular make and model of 1.5 gallon warm mist is the best we've owned in recent years. The newer version, quite frankly stinks. The controls on this one are reliable. The electronic controls on the newer one work sporadically and ultimately break quickly.
