Unique design with vertical water tank. Can fill with pitcher or remove and fill in sink/tub. Less standing water in unit to get gross. Easy to change filter and accessible from back of unit. Don't have to take whole thing apart except for periodic cleaning.

Best part is there is no mist, it's an evaporative humidifier. No nasty green water and delicate screen that you can never clean. System works well it's quiet and the water tank comes out to fill or you can fill it while it's running by pouring water in the top that has a screen so nothing can fall in. Also this has an air filter system that does a great job cleaning the air going through the fan which has 3 speeds and 5 humidity settings and a light for when humidity is reached and a light for water refill and one to replace or clean the filter set up is simple just snap in the float and fill the water tank. The lock unlock knob you will find underneath the water tank is for the air filter there is little to no data for this in the instructions.. overall it's quiet and easy to fill and has a pretty long cord making placement easier. Very happy overall with the purchase.
