All the parts come in bags with large letters that match the inventory and assembly instructions. The job will go a lot faster if you leave the parts in the bags til you need them. I didn't and spent extra time sorting out which silver tubes were the uprights and which was the top bar. Most everything goes together real easy. The feet (that the wheels go on), have a square hole that matches up with square holes in the bottom tube and the uprights. It took a couple thumps on the end of the feet to get the holes to line up on the bottom tube. The are 4 square locking nuts that go in the holes to lock them together. You push them in the square holes, push the plastic screw in with a Phillips screw driver, then turn the screw 1/4 turn to lock it. The screws should be metal because one of the plastic screws broke off. The locking nut fits tight in the hole so no danger of it coming apart. The uprights have a plastic collar , with a locking latch, that connects the top and bottom upright tubes. By releasing the latch at each end you can adjust the height of the rack. The is a plastic T-connector, with a locking latch, that connects the top bar to the uprights. The metal tubes that show at each end of the rack in pictures are actually 2 separate 13 1/2 inch long tubes with protective caps on them, that slide inside the center tube. By releasing the locking latch on the T-connector, you can slide them in or extend them out as needed. The two wheels on the front have locking catches, so you can lock it in place. The rack is not real heavy (5 or 6 pounds), so you want to be careful when you move it. I tried to move it too fast and the wheels at the opposite end came off the floor. The rack made the changing seasons a lot easier for me. I pulled a selection of fall and winter coats out of the closet and hung them on the rack. It's a lot easier to grab the appropriate coat and go rather that have to dig through the closet.
