I love this cabinet. I got it to store my towels and bed sheets. It looks nice and neat. Yes, it had a funny smell, but it went away after a few days. It was just like any smell of a new item you get (clothes, shoes, etc). I love that I can keep my whites organized in one place without taking so much space. I also used the top cabinet to store some personal items. My 16 years old son assembled it in about an hour or so. I just helped him to hold one of the glass doors.
