I bought two for each door and hooked them together over 3 doors- 6 in all. I couldn't hang my clothes in closets because of height of rod and a physical inability. They are working great. You might consider making a lower rod for older and disabled.

This kind is the best design for hanging space.

If you need extra hanging space, buy this one!! It took less than a minute to look at the pieces and understand how to assemble. Done!! Extremely easy, even for "ME." This type of hanger suits me perfectly. DO NOT buy the other kind that juts straight out from the door. One broke immediately, and I'm just "waiting" for the other 2 to break. I will definitely replace with this kind. Yes, it is more expensive, but well worth the extra money considering what I lost. The return procedure was not workable, so I could not get a refund. Lesson learned!!

It works great on my laundry room door! I am 5'1" and had trouble reaching the top of the door to hang up clothes. This allowed me to be able to reach to place hangers on when doing my laundry. Definitely recommend this product for hanging space for clothes.
