Found this frame to be as good if not better than the expensive frame that was on the expensive bed my daughter removed from our house. Has real good base supports, better than the one we replaced! If using this frame with the slumber 1, 10-1/2" mattress you will need a box spring as it has a special frame if using alone. We purchased a boxspring from Wal-mart and were very happy with it. The ship to store was fantastic and everything came in quickly.
