For my cabinet modifications, these lag screwed were ideal. They were accurately described as to their dimensions, and had heavy zinc plating to resist future rust. They seemed to hold the weight of the cabinets easily, and were very reasonably priced.

A Good Hold at a Good Price
The 2x4 that is attached to my brick house that holds the wood fence in place pulled off because the contractor used screws that were too thin and too short. These 1/4" x 3" screws really hold well. They are sharp, so they pulled in snug into the hole drilled into the concrete. The plating keeps them from rusting and looking good. I could buy this small amount that I needed. Most stores sell lag screws only in large amounts.
