MEDIUM? HERDEZ, who are you kidding, yourself? Actually, this IS my medium for heat. Which is most people's hot. I love this sauce! Then again, I often enjoy people's “OMG, that's way too hot”, too. It's VERY green pepper flavorful, with smooth avocado after that I'm the list. hot-chili (pepper) salsa. I use it for dipping mostly, add a few ounces to a small plastic cup, and dip/smother your fries. I used 2/5ths of the 15oz on opening up the bottle, or, 6oz. YUMMY! Eureka!! After trying so many tricks to keep my home made guacamole from browning, I had a hunch that this dip might be the answer and I was right! No need to add lime or lemon juice, green tomatillo sauce and spices to your fresh guac, instead you need only two ingredients - fresh diced avocados and this dip at a ratio of about 70 percent avocado and 30 percent Herdez guac salsa. IT DOES NOT GO BROWN!! Try it and you will thank me. On its own, there is not enough avocado in it and its a bit thin for dipping or spreading but the 5 star rating is for this as a second ingredient in simple fresh home made guacamole. It has the right amount of spices and salt in the jar.
