This is a "tree-based" Xylitol a natural sweetener. It is not necessarily Birch, but it is tree based. Has a great Glycemic index. Xylitol that is derived from trees is generally regarded as safer and better for the consumer than corn-based Xylitol. This is only 20 calories per 2 tsp serving, so it is a low-calorie product. Tastes fine. Requires no refrigeration. May be used the way sugar is used, follow directions. Start by using as directed.

This is xylitol taste Very good, any kind of aftertaste is almost nonexistent. I use this to add it to my low sugar ice cream and it really makes it pop. It dissolves quite quickly but only when the food you're adding to it is liquidy or saucy. The size of the bag makes it last a long time. This is also really good in coffee and other kinds of drinks. Great for making desserts as well better than any alternative out there that I found so far. When I was doing keto, this was my choice.
