The rug is gorgeous however it does not lay flat in certain areas. The gray areas have a lot of loose loops coming up and there are still waves in the carpet. I did exactly what the manufacturer told me to do and it hasn't changed the appearance. I love the colors and the design but I wouldn't pay $1000 for this rug again.
