Harvest 2000 Vegetarian Bouillon Mix-Chicken Flavor, Gluten Free, (16 oz, 1 can)

What can't you do with bullion, this brand taste great and enhances flavor in my dishes perfectly. I've already used it in quite a few dishes that turned out great! The can is big so it should last me for a while. The nutrition stats are good for my diet so I use it in dishes that enhance the flavor deliciously as any other would. So far I have no complaints! This bullion taste great!

The name of this bouillon mix kind of contradicts itself. Not sure how it can be chicken flavor and vegetarian. That is kind of irrelevant to me as I am not looking specifically for anything vegetarian. Looking at the ingredients there is nothing that resembles chicken so maybe it's a mind game. :) The bouillon mix is very tasty. I tasted of this just the plain mix and it does taste good. It also adds a good flavor and great taste to a variety of foods. The canister is very easy to open and close and is a good size so it should fit in most any cabinet. As the canister is shorter it fits well in smaller cabinets that are made for spices. The lid fits very snug and gives a good seal on the canister. If you have dietary restrictions I would suggest reading the nutrition facts. This product is very high in sodium. There are 660 mg in one teaspoon. One teaspoon is a serving. Be sure to read the directions. You need to mix one teaspoon of the bouillon mix with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix well. Then mix this in to 2 cups of hot vegetables. You can also use this to flavor stir fry, soups, rice, or just about anything. I have only had this a short period of time but I am excited about all the different dishes I could possibly use it in to enhance or give an extra pop of flavor. I can attest to the fact that the chicken flavor bouillon is good in green beans. And tastes great in rice used in stir fry. This is also tasty added to the Ramen Noodles to add extra flavor. I like to mix flavors. So adding this to something like the beef really adds to the taste. I would recommend this and would purchase in the future. The product needs to be stored in a cool dry place. You do not want to store this where moisture can get inside the canister. It also has a long shelf life. Apx 2 years.
